Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Rating πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

The book is a throwback to the 1980's that's set in 2044. The world as we know it has ceased to exist due to much chaos including overpopulation. Instead we now have people stacking up trailers and living in them, families can not take more space than what they actually need and most people are broke. The world is a mess and the one escape people living in it have is The Oasis.

The Oasis is a virtual world where you can be, see and do anything you want. A vast ocean of worlds of many themes, although many of these worlds have two things in common, they are based on other video game worlds and they are greatly inclined towards the 80's.

The day comes in which the creator of The Oasis dies and leaves a will in which he declares that he has hidden 3 keys in his virtual world, these 3 keys open a sort of Easter egg in the game (for those of you that are not gamers, an Easter egg is a bonus mini game that some video games have inside them) and whoever wins this game will get not only his billions of dollars bank account, but also become the major share holder in The Oasis. He leaves everyone a copy of his memoirs and a clue to get started. That's the basics of the game, but there's plenty more to it.

Not only will anyone who lived in the 80's enjoy reading this, but gamers of the world will find it interesting. The book also tackles what it's like to be a teen in a world where virtual reality is more common amd more accepted than the real world. It deals with themes like falling in love and making friends when you don't even know who is on the other side of the avatar you're seeing.

I found the book to be very entertaining, it's very believable in the sense that it is a world that could very likely be real in 20 years. I haven't seen the movie yet and I'll probably submit a review for it here too when I do, but I'll definitely recommend the book.

NYX Plump It Up Lip Plumper in Kim

Rating πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— I am a big fan of NYX. The brand has good, high quality products at affordable prices which is something we could all use, am I right? Their Plump It Up lip plumpers are something I had never tried though and I recently got the chance to buy these babies and take them for a test drive. I gotta say, I really like them! They are not high pigmented, it's more of a sheer color when you put them on, it barely has color, they sting as all lip plumpers fo and I read a review or two of people saying that they threw them out because they burned so badly... I'm not sure of they are just sensitive to the sensation and can't take it or if they had a reaction, but I assure you, it doesn't tingle or sting more than any other plumper out there. It also has normal results on the plumping, you get a little plumpness, nothing like getting fillers so, do not expect Angelina Jolie lips, but they give you a nice pout and it lasts a decent amount of time before y...

Kerastase Aura Botanica Hair Care Set.

Rating πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— I am in LOVE with these hair care products that I recieved complementary to try. The set is valued at $110.00 and it's worth every shiny penny. Let me tell you about them. Aura Botanica Shampoo: The shampoo has a light fragrance that to me smells like sandalwood. The shampoo looks like a light syrup and has a very luxurious feel when you use it. I have to say, using it made me feel very pampered and left my hair super hydrated. Price $33.00 per 250 ml. Aura Botanica Conditioner: This one didn't smell like anything to me. It is a thick, scentless custard textured conditioner that feels as luxurious as the shampoo and really controlled my frizz. Price $40.00 for 200 ml.  Aura Botanica Blow Dry Hair Milk: I have to admit, I have used this for blow drying and even when I'm just letting my hair air dry. The product works wonders. I feel like my hair is smooth and silky and definitely looks so much better when I use it. It is ...

Pixie by Petra Eyeshadow in Ornamental Orchid

Rating: πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— This has to be the creamiest powder eyeshadow I've ever seen! I love the feel and texture and the colors are very nice. It's a good mini travel palette if you get it like this and these particular colors are very neutral and friendly to most skin colors and tones. It has good staying power and both shades blend together beautifully on the lid. The only thing I didn't like was that i had to pack a good amount of the brown on my lid to get the shade you see in the photos and video, but I really did enjoy this eyeshadow and will definitely use it again!
